Keywords And Linkbuilding Tips

Right Keywords and Link building strategies can boost your search engine rankings. This is for intermediate to beginners.  When it comes to search engine rankings; keywords and linkbuilding is one of the important aspects.

1.       KEYWORD TIPS – If you are going after of a particular keyword don’t just choose “insurance”, “car insurance” or “life insurance” these are general keywords and has millions of competition which I don’t encourage this kind of keywords. If I have a piece of content on my website and most of people know this already but in some cases people don’t, we don’t try to rank our website we rank our webpages because every individual content in the page inside a website has its own potential to rank in the search engines, so you really do  your SEO on webpages. The smarter way to operate with your SEO is not really go after with one keyword phrase per piece of content. What I learned is to plan out what content I’m going to put on my site. If your keyword is about “car insurance” better put other version of that keyword phrase that is slightly longer but the “car insurance” is still embedded in the phrase like “best car insurance review”, “ best car insurance” or “cheap car insurance secrets”. You can put these keywords two or three times in your content. There is a couple of ways to do this, you can either go start backlinking your page for the longer version like “cheap car insurance secrets” and when you start showing up on the ranking in search engines for this keyword you can then eventually start backlinking on the harder keyword like “car insurance”. This will end up for a lot of keyword on your content, the bonus is you  wouldn’t have to do the backlinking in order to rank for that other keywords that google can see on your site. Just put your main keyword on the H1 or H2 tags and META description, things like that just sprinkle your long tail keyword throughout the page just do an on page SEO. Choosing the potential buying keywords will be on my next article.

2.      TIPS ON LINKBUILDING  – HTML and BBC codes, Angela and Paul? This is what I do, planning and organizing by using EXCEL document and listing every keyword I’m trying to target. Just like what I mentioned above I put two or three keywords on my article. So I know exactly what I’m trying to target on my webpages now some pages have more competitive keyword than others then I will need more backlinks for this page, this is just the nature of SEO. What I do when I roll out my backlinking plan? Is I only use linkwheels, I have a variety of different linkwheels. What I do is organize this linkwheel in sequence, I probably need a high quality spun article and it should be relevant and submit this content to different social network sites, press release, article directories etc. with my backlinks in it. This sort of backlinks is called contextual backlinks because these are articles and my links are inside this article, so this will be my first wave in linkwheel. If you are using a software like SEnukeX  Just don’t blast your backlinks or don’t do it aggressively, but you have to be consistent in your backlinking. Just stick to your plan, if you have your own technique just stick to it ranking your site is like trial and error there is no specific strategy for this. Based on my experience I can put competitive keywords on page one of google in two to three months, but there are people who can rank there site in just a short time using a competitive keyword well I don’t really know what techniques they are using. Once you are already on top of search engines, you just don’t give up because if it is a competitive keyword phrase then somebody else below your rank is backlinking it will probably get your ranking. What I do is set a maintenance level of linking, a little bit lower than I usually do. Consistently build link to the page (if I’m making 500 links a week in my keyword, I will only make a 250 links a week) and this is important always monitor the rankings of your site everyday to ensure your keyword will not go down from top one.
